Alphabet’s YouTube is projected to surpass Disney as the world’s largest media company by revenue, according to research from MoffettNathanson.

The investment firm estimates YouTube’s full-year 2025 revenue will reach $62 billion. This figure exceeds the $60.9 billion projected for Disney Media during the same period.

Analysts estimate YouTube’s standalone valuation between $500 billion and $560 billion. This valuation is greater than the combined market capitalization of the five major Hollywood studios.

The report identifies YouTube as a primary beneficiary of structural shifts in the technology and media industries. Its massive scale and diverse content offerings provide a dominant competitive advantage in the evolving global landscape.
