Intel and Google expanded their multiyear partnership to advance AI and cloud infrastructure.
Google will deploy Intel Xeon 6 processors across its global data centers. These chips will support AI workloads, inference, and general computing tasks.
The companies are also broadening the co-development of custom, ASIC-based Infrastructure Processing Units (IPUs). These specialized chips offload networking, storage, and security functions from main CPUs to improve efficiency and scalability in large-scale AI environments.
