Intel Foundry started high-volume manufacturing for a portion of its Panther Lake Core Ultra 3 processors. The production utilizes ASML’s next-generation High-NA EUV lithography on specific layers of the Intel 18A process node.

Intel is the first company in the industry to ship a high-volume logic product using this advanced technology. High-NA EUV enables the precise patterning required for smaller, denser chips in AI and advanced applications.

This milestone is a key step in Intel’s strategy to regain its manufacturing edge. The current production provides crucial data to refine the process for broader future adoption.
