Legend Biotech (NASDAQ: LEGN) released clinical proof-of-concept data for LB2501, an investigational in vivo CAR-T cell therapy.
The company presented the results at a late-breaking session during the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2026 Congress.
Patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL) achieved a 100% objective response rate (ORR) at the second dose level.
The study also recorded an 83.3% complete response rate (CR) at that same dosage.
LB2501 generates CAR-T cells directly inside the patient's body through a single infusion.
This approach aims to simplify the complex and costly manufacturing processes associated with current CAR-T treatments.
The trial reported a favorable safety profile with no dose-limiting toxicities, serious adverse events, or deaths.
