Patients filled the last two million prescriptions in just ten weeks. The current prescription rate averages one fill every five seconds.
Over 80% of new oral Wegovy prescriptions come from patients new to GLP-1 therapy. The oral formulation expands the obesity treatment market rather than converting existing injectable users.
