JPMorgan Chase reversed its policy denying banking services to the firearm industry.

This includes manufacturers of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs).

The bank announced the change following meetings with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).

This ends a practice the NSSF labeled discriminatory.

The reversal shifts the bank's previous stance, which cited "reputational risk" for avoiding the business.

This follows similar policy changes implemented by other large financial institutions that restricted access to the firearm sector.
