JPMorgan Chase is positioned to become the first bank to reach a $1 trillion market capitalization. Wells Fargo analyst Mike Mayo projects the firm could eventually reach a $2 trillion valuation. He expects this growth to occur within the next eight years.
The bank’s market value reached approximately $965 billion in mid-August 2026. Wells Fargo increased its price target for the stock to $390. This is an increase from the previous $375 target. The firm also maintained an overweight rating on the shares.
The bullish outlook follows a period of record profits driven by trading and dealmaking. JPMorgan continues to gain market share across major business lines while maintaining a strong balance sheet.
