Beauty and wellness software platform Fresha has secured an $80 million investment from KKR, a global investment firm. This funding round elevates Fresha's valuation to over $1 billion, granting it unicorn status. The capital was invested through KKR's Next Generation Technology Growth strategy and brings Fresha's total funds raised to $285 million.

The London-based company, founded in 2015, provides a marketplace and business management platform for spas and salons. Fresha serves over 130,000 businesses globally and plans to use the new investment to fuel international expansion and develop its product, with a focus on artificial intelligence capabilities. The platform currently facilitates more than 35 million appointments per month.
