President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Lockheed Martin representatives in Washington on July 28. The meeting focused on deepening defense partnerships through joint weapons production and technology sharing.

Discussions prioritized Patriot air defense interceptors, HIMARS, ATACMS, and F-16 systems. Ukraine aims to bolster its domestic defense industry and secure long-term military capabilities.

Zelenskyy confirmed that teams are working on concrete steps to launch co-production immediately. This follows a similar meeting with Raytheon and talks with Donald Trump regarding Patriot production licenses.
