Lockheed Martin will establish a Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Sustainment Facility in Europe. The White House announced the initiative on July 9, 2026, during the NATO Summit in Ankara.
The facility forms part of a defense package exceeding $3 billion. Lockheed Martin will also partner with Rheinmetall to co-produce the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) in Europe.
These initiatives aim to increase procurement and lower costs for NATO members. The expansion will ramp up production to meet rising regional demand for advanced missile defense systems.
