Lockheed Martin secured a 12-year contract from the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The agreement has a potential value of $10.53 billion. This Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services II (GLSS2) deal extends a partnership active since 2010.
The contract represents USSOCOM's largest service vehicle for global logistics. Lockheed Martin will manage supply chains and maintain aircraft, vehicles, and equipment. The company will also transform infrastructure to facilitate rapid military deployment.
These services support the operational readiness of U.S. Special Operations Forces worldwide.
