Meta Platforms hired the founders and staff of AI startup Dreamer to enhance its development of autonomous agents. The team, which includes a former Meta executive, will join the Meta Superintelligence Labs group.

The agreement grants Meta a non-exclusive license to use Dreamer’s technology. Dreamer remains a separate legal entity, and the companies did not disclose financial terms.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg has previously emphasized the importance of AI agents that complete tasks for users. This move underscores Meta’s strategy of securing elite talent and infrastructure for its AI roadmap.
