Meta Platforms hired three senior leaders from OpenAI’s Stargate AI data center initiative. The new hires include Peter Hoeschele, Shamez Hemani, and Anuj Saharan. All three individuals previously held leadership roles within OpenAI’s computing organization.
The move aligns with CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s pledge to invest heavily in AI infrastructure. Meta intends to use this specialized talent to build the massive data center capacity required for its advanced AI models. This acquisition directly strengthens the development of Meta's Superintelligence Labs.
