Meta introduced its next-generation Meta VR Glasses at the Connect event. The lightweight device resembles oversized sunglasses and connects to an external computing and power pack.
Meta priced the glasses at $1,300 to compete with the Apple Vision Pro. The hardware features 5K micro-OLED displays. A new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor powers the device.
Users can watch movies on virtual screens or connect to computers for multitasking. Meta scheduled the product release for the spring of 2027 to expand mixed reality adoption.
