Anthropic hired former Microsoft executive Eric Boyd as its new head of infrastructure.
Boyd spent nearly 17 years at Microsoft. He most recently served as Corporate Vice President of the Azure AI Platform. In that role, he developed infrastructure to support large language models.
Boyd will now scale Anthropic’s systems to meet rising demand for Claude AI models.
The move highlights an intensifying talent war among technology firms. Companies are competing to build the complex infrastructure required for advanced artificial intelligence.
