Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is scheduled to appear before the U.S. House Oversight Committee on June 10 for a transcribed interview regarding his connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The appearance is part of the committee's broader investigation into Epstein's network and influence.
Gates, who was requested to testify by the committee in March, has stated he will appear voluntarily. A spokesperson said Gates "welcomes the opportunity" to answer questions and reiterated that he never witnessed or participated in any of Epstein's illegal activities. Gates has previously called his association with Epstein, which began after Epstein's 2008 conviction, a "huge mistake."
