Microsoft appointed Daniel Shapero as LinkedIn Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Shapero previously served as the professional networking platform’s Chief Operating Officer.
Outgoing CEO Ryan Roslansky will transition to Executive Vice President at parent company Microsoft. Roslansky will now oversee both LinkedIn and Microsoft Office operations.
Shapero will report directly to Roslansky under the new leadership structure.
