Microsoft will invest over $10 billion in the Middle East through 2030 to expand its cloud and AI infrastructure. The initiative targets Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The expansion includes more than $400 million for subsea and terrestrial connectivity to enhance network capacity. These investments support Microsoft's broader strategy for global AI and cloud dominance.
Separately, Stifel upgraded Microsoft stock to Buy from Hold and raised its price target to $575 from $530. Analysts cited increasing confidence in Microsoft's ability to sustain revenue growth through its Azure and Copilot AI platforms.
