Microsoft launched a unified Copilot application combining AI chat, coding, and agent tools into one interface. The platform serves both business and personal users.

The update introduces a Code section for building software using natural language. It also debuts Autopilot, a feature for creating persistent AI agents to manage long-running tasks.

This move consolidates fragmented Copilot experiences into a single super app. Microsoft rebranded its Scout AI agent, which it originally unveiled in June, as Autopilot.

Microsoft embedded full versions of Office apps like Word and Excel directly within Copilot. This integration allows users to edit documents without switching between different applications.
