Microsoft launched the "Elevate for Educators" initiative in India. The program aims to train 2 million teachers in artificial intelligence by 2030.

Microsoft President Brad Smith announced the plan at a Delhi school. The initiative will reach 200,000 educational institutions nationwide. India is the first Asian country to host the program.

The curriculum integrates AI literacy, computational thinking, and responsible technology use into daily instruction. The program supports India’s goal to become an AI-first nation through inclusive, human-centered adoption. The model features AI-based smart classrooms and digital libraries.
