Microsoft announced a collaboration with Knox Systems. This partnership aims to accelerate secure access to commercial software and AI for U.S. government agencies. It will operate on Microsoft's Azure Government Cloud platform.

The initiative seeks to lower significant compliance and time barriers. These barriers typically hinder software companies from entering the federal market.

Knox's pre-authorized Federal Managed Cloud will facilitate this process. Software vendors can achieve necessary security authorizations, including FedRAMP. This can occur in as little as 90 days.

This streamlined process aims to provide government customers with faster access to innovative technologies. It also expands the ecosystem of third-party solutions available on Microsoft's government cloud.
