Microsoft Executive Vice President of Experiences and Devices Rajesh Jha will retire on July 1. His departure concludes a 35-year career overseeing Microsoft 365, Windows, Surface, and Copilot AI initiatives. Jha will transition into an advisory role following his retirement.
CEO Satya Nadella announced a major leadership restructuring in conjunction with the move. Four of Jha’s direct reports will now report directly to Nadella as Executive Vice Presidents. These newly promoted leaders include Perry Clarke, Charles Lamanna, Pavan Davuluri, and Ryan Roslansky.
The reorganization streamlines the corporate structure by elevating heads of key product areas. Jeff Teper has also been promoted to Executive Vice President. Furthermore, Sumit Chauhan and Kirk Koenigsbauer have been named Presidents.
