Microsoft will release its AI-powered Gaming Copilot for Xbox Series X|S consoles by the end of 2026. The tool has been in beta for PC and mobile platforms since October 2025. It analyzes gameplay via screenshots to provide recommendations and insights.
Xbox Gaming AI project manager Sonali Yadav announced the rollout at a recent GDC conference. Microsoft plans to integrate the feature into its next-generation console, Project Helix. Project Helix is scheduled for a later launch.
