Microsoft unveiled Copilot Health, an AI-powered feature within the Copilot app designed as a personalized health companion for U.S. consumers. The tool integrates health records, lab results, and biometric data from more than 50 wearable devices, including Apple Watch and Fitbit.
Users can connect data from over 50,000 U.S. hospitals and healthcare providers. The service aims to help individuals manage chronic conditions, prepare for medical appointments, and interpret health metrics.
Microsoft stated that all imported health data is encrypted and firewalled from the rest of the Copilot application to ensure privacy. The feature is currently undergoing testing with a select group before a phased U.S. rollout. Microsoft plans to implement a subscription fee for the service in the future.
