The new offering sits between the entry-level Plus plan and the $200 monthly Pro tier. The $200 tier provides 20 times the usage capacity of the Plus subscription. This structure creates a more accessible upgrade path for professionals handling complex coding projects.
OpenAI is also ending promotional Codex limits for the standard Plus plan. The company is rebalancing Plus usage to favor more frequent, shorter sessions.
