Seattle-based Brinc Drones, a manufacturer of drones for 911 and emergency response, has raised $125 million in a funding round led by Motorola Solutions. This new capital brings Brinc's total funding to more than $280 million and nearly doubles its valuation from a year ago. Existing investors, including Index Ventures and Figma CEO Dylan Field, also participated in the round.
The investment deepens the strategic alliance between the two companies, which began in April 2025. Brinc will use the funds to expand its manufacturing capacity, grow its workforce, and move into a new, larger headquarters and factory in Seattle later this year. The funding comes as U.S. restrictions on Chinese-made drones create new opportunities for domestic manufacturers in the public safety sector.
