Nokia completed the sale of its Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) business to Inseego Corp. The transaction was first announced on April 30, 2026. This deal simplifies Nokia's operations and allows it to focus on core infrastructure. The acquisition is expected to approximately double Inseego's revenue. It is also expected to expand Inseego's global footprint.

Nokia took an approximately 11% equity stake in Inseego. This includes an initial investment. It also includes a $10 million cash payment due by October 15, 2026. This payment supports engineering and platform interoperability between the companies. The companies plan to collaborate on future technologies, including 6G and AI-driven wireless edge solutions.
