Nokia Oyj raised its full-year profit forecast following a stronger-than-expected second quarter. Comparable operating profit increased 18% to €434 million, exceeding analyst estimates. Comparable net sales grew 9% in constant currency.
Demand from AI and cloud customers drove growth as segment sales doubled year-over-year to €446 million. The company secured €2.8 billion in new orders within the AI and cloud segment. The Network Infrastructure division reported a 12% sales increase, led by Optical and IP Networks.
Comparable diluted EPS rose to €0.07 from €0.04 a year earlier. Nokia reported an operating loss for the period due to restructuring charges. The company now expects full-year comparable operating profit between €2.1 billion and €2.6 billion.
