The Pokémon Company and developer Game Freak announced Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves as the tenth generation of the mainline series.
The reveal occurred during a Pokémon Presents livestream marking the franchise's 30th anniversary.
Both titles are scheduled for a simultaneous global release in 2027.
These games will be exclusive to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The reveal trailer features an open-world region with tropical islands and underwater exploration.
New starter Pokémon include the Grass-type Browt, the Fire-type Pombon, and the Water-type Gecqua.
