UK-based AI data center developer Nscale has raised $2 billion in its latest funding round.
The Series C investment brings the company’s valuation to $14.6 billion. Norway’s Aker and 8090 Industries co-led the financing, with additional participation from Nvidia, Citadel, and Dell.
Nscale is strengthening its board with the appointment of former Meta executives Sheryl Sandberg and Nick Clegg. Former Yahoo President Susan Decker will also join the board of directors. The company will use the capital to accelerate the global expansion of its AI infrastructure across Europe, North America, and Asia.
