Mecka AI, a startup that collects human motion data to train robots, has secured $60 million in a Series B funding round led by Sequoia Capital. The round saw participation from new investors including Nvidia, Microsoft's M12, Qualcomm Ventures, and Samsung, alongside support from existing backers.

The company's platform captures first-person data from people performing everyday tasks using body sensors and smartphones. This information is then processed into a 3D format that AI models for humanoid robots can use to learn real-world actions. The new capital will be used to scale Mecka's data infrastructure, research, and commercial robot deployments.
