Nous Research raised $90 million in a funding round that values the company at $1.5 billion.
The developer is known for Hermes, its popular open-source AI agent. Since its release in February, Hermes has reportedly been downloaded or cloned more than 24 million times.
Nous will use the new capital to launch Hermes for Businesses, an enterprise-focused version of its AI assistant. Investors in the round include Nvidia, Microsoft’s M12, Samsung, Union Square Ventures, and Y Combinator.
