NVIDIA invested $2 billion in specialized cloud provider CoreWeave. NVIDIA purchased Class A common stock at $87.20 per share.

The move deepens collaboration to accelerate the development of 'AI factories.' The partnership aims to build out more than 5 gigawatts of AI data center capacity by 2030.

The expanded partnership leverages NVIDIA's financial strength and computing platform technology. This strategy meets the exponentially growing demand for AI compute. CoreWeave will adopt multiple generations of NVIDIA's future infrastructure, including the upcoming Rubin platform.

Following the announcement, CoreWeave's stock jumped approximately 14-15%. NVIDIA's stock rose around 1%.
