NVIDIA signed a formal contract with the Taipei City Government to establish its first overseas headquarters in the Beitou-Shilin Technology Park.
Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an confirmed the deal includes a 50-year land lease with an optional 20-year extension.
Construction costs for the project are estimated to exceed NT$40 billion.
The facility is expected to create more than 10,000 jobs once operational.
Development is scheduled to begin in June or July of 2026.
The project aims to solidify Taiwan’s position as a global hub for artificial intelligence.
