NVIDIA is establishing a new research and development center in South Korea to accelerate artificial intelligence collaboration. The facility will strengthen partnerships with major firms including Samsung, SK, Hyundai, and LG.

NVIDIA aims to leverage the country’s expertise in robotics and advanced manufacturing. CEO Jensen Huang is currently visiting the country to underscore this strategic focus.

Huang met with the heads of gaming firms Krafton and NCSoft on Sunday. Discussions focused on cooperation regarding gaming and physical AI. The expansion signals NVIDIA’s strategy to grow beyond its core data center business.
