NVIDIA partnered with the Japanese government and the Noetra Corp. consortium to build the world's first national physical AI infrastructure. This initiative establishes a large-scale AI factory to accelerate innovation in manufacturing and healthcare.

The facility will utilize 13,750 NVIDIA Vera CPUs to support advanced multimodal foundation models. It will also feature 27,500 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs to power these computational workloads.

The Noetra Corp. consortium includes major industrial leaders such as SoftBank, Sony, Honda, and NEC. This project provides the computational backbone for Japan's government-backed FRONTia Project. The collaboration expands NVIDIA’s reach into physical AI systems beyond its traditional cloud-based training focus.

NVIDIA's stock faced immediate pressure following the announcement due to a broader semiconductor sector selloff. Market analysts attribute the decline to general profit-taking in AI-related stocks. Analysts view the Japan partnership as a supportive long-term catalyst despite the short-term market sentiment.
