NVIDIA and supplier Wistron launched mass production of the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip. Production is centered at a new $700 million manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The 324,000-square-foot site represents NVIDIA's first manufacturing plant in the United States. This facility supports a broader investment strategy to strengthen domestic AI infrastructure.
The Texas plant will also manufacture the next-generation Vera Rubin Superchip. Operations will initially create 500 jobs. NVIDIA plans to increase the workforce to 1,000 employees by the end of the year.
The move localizes production, assembly, and testing to meet high hardware demand. NVIDIA accelerated production schedules for the Vera Rubin AI server platform. Key clients including OpenAI and Microsoft are currently testing the new systems.
