PepsiCo initiated a multi-year, industry-first collaboration with Siemens and NVIDIA, announced at CES 2026. The partnership will leverage artificial intelligence and digital twin technology across PepsiCo’s plants and supply chain.
The initiative aims to optimize operations by digitally simulating and testing facility designs. PepsiCo specifically utilizes Siemens' Digital Twin Composer, which is built on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform.
Early pilots in the United States have already yielded significant results. The company reported a 20% increase in throughput. Furthermore, the technology achieved a 10-15% reduction in capital expenditures by virtually validating investments and identifying hidden capacity.
This partnership underscores PepsiCo’s commitment to digital transformation, allowing the company to anticipate and adapt to consumer demand more effectively. PepsiCo plans to scale this digital-first approach globally to enhance facility layouts, increase capacity, and improve flexibility.
