Pinterest has completed its acquisition of tvScientific, a connected-TV advertising platform. Following the closing, the company raised its first-quarter 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $958 million to $978 million.
The updated revenue forecast reflects the partial-quarter contribution from the newly acquired business. However, Pinterest lowered its adjusted EBITDA forecast to between $163 million and $183 million.
This downward adjustment accounts for expenses related to the integration of tvScientific. The acquisition, first announced in December 2025, aims to enhance Pinterest's advertising tools within the connected-TV sector.
The revised guidance follows a recent decline in Pinterest shares after the company previously issued a downbeat earnings projection.
