A U.S. appeals court overturned a $59.4 million verdict for medical device maker Insulet against South Korean competitor EOFlow. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit issued the ruling on May 28, 2026.

The court ruled that Insulet exceeded the three-year statute of limitations for trade secret claims. Judges determined that Insulet should have been aware of the alleged theft by 2019. The company did not file its lawsuit until August 2023.

The original case involved allegations that EOFlow misappropriated trade secrets related to Insulet's Omnipod insulin-pump technology. This reversal voids the multimillion-dollar award and represents a significant legal victory for EOFlow.
