Paramount Skydance Corporation (PSKY) announced the resignation of President and board member Jeff Shell on April 8, 2026. Shell is stepping down to focus on a fraud lawsuit filed against him by R.J. Cipriani.
The company board found no evidence of securities disclosure violations following an internal review of the allegations. Shell held the presidency for eight months prior to this transition.
Shell served as a primary architect for the pending acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. His departure occurs as the company seeks regulatory approval for the multi-billion dollar merger.
Paramount Skydance has not yet named a successor for the president role. The executive change removes a lead figure from the integration planning of the two media entities.
