Bank of America Global Research raised its price objective and earnings estimates for Poste Italiane. This follows unanimous approval from Telecom Italia’s board for the postal service's takeover offer.
The strategic consolidation is valued at approximately US$14.9 billion. The deal aims to generate synergies by integrating both companies' extensive domestic networks.
Poste Italiane will retain the Telecom Italia brand and its retail network to maintain consumer familiarity. The CEO intends to modernize services while leveraging the complementary strengths of both organizations.
