Qualcomm has entered into a long-term strategic collaboration with German firm Neura Robotics to accelerate the development of cognitive robots and physical artificial intelligence. The partnership aims to move intelligent humanoid robots from research labs into scalable, real-world deployments across industrial, service, and household environments.
The collaboration will pair Qualcomm's recently launched Dragonwing IQ10 series processors with Neura Robotics' full-stack hardware and embodied AI software. Together, the companies will develop joint "Brain + Nervous System" reference architectures, seeking to combine high-level perception and reasoning with the ultra-low-latency control required for robots to operate safely and effectively alongside humans.
