The Philippines’ Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) canceled plans to ban Roblox on April 7, 2026.
This decision followed a meeting between the DICT, law enforcement agencies, and Roblox management.
Roblox presented enhanced safety measures featuring stricter monitoring and improved reporting mechanisms.
The DICT and the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) confirmed the platform will remain active. Both agencies emphasized that child safety remains the primary priority.
