Roblox faces an investigation by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). The Dutch consumer watchdog announced the probe on Friday. The investigation focuses on the safety of children on the platform.

The ACM will assess if Roblox protects underage users from risks, including violent and sexually explicit content. This assessment ensures compliance with European Union regulations.

The probe operates under the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA). The DSA requires online platforms to implement measures ensuring high privacy and safety for minors.

The Dutch regulator received reports detailing these issues. The ACM will spend approximately one year examining potential violations and risks for young users.
