Roblox reached a $12 million settlement with Nevada on April 15, 2026. The agreement establishes a first-of-its-kind framework to improve online safety for younger users.

The company will implement stricter age verification requirements for its entire user base. Roblox will also limit nighttime notifications sent to minors and expand parental controls for users under 16.

Nevada will allocate $10 million of the settlement funds to support non-digital youth activities. Roblox's Chief Safety Officer characterized the deal as a landmark agreement for digital safety.
