Rheinmetall reported a preliminary second-quarter operating profit of €562 million. This result significantly exceeded analyst forecasts of approximately €470 million.

Revenue climbed nearly 70% year-over-year to roughly €3.3 billion. The company secured €11.37 billion in new orders during the period.

The total order backlog now exceeds €80 billion. Heightened geopolitical tensions and increased European defense spending drove the demand.
