RTX subsidiary Raytheon secured a $22.9 billion U.S. Navy contract spanning seven years. The agreement funds a massive production increase for Tomahawk cruise missiles.

The Department of War issued the award to accelerate munition delivery and expand the industrial base. Annual production targets will exceed 1,000 Tomahawk missiles to stabilize supplies for the U.S. and its allies.

RTX tripled its Tomahawk deliveries in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. The company is currently investing in facilities and supply chains to meet surging demand.
