A Ryanair Boeing 737 traveling from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany, made an emergency landing on Friday. The aircraft returned safely to Thessaloniki shortly after takeoff after a cabin window dislodged.
Local reports indicate a piece of an engine may have broken off and struck the window. The impact reportedly caused cabin decompression and triggered the deployment of oxygen masks.
One person required medical attention following the landing. Ryanair confirmed the incident and arranged a replacement aircraft to complete the journey.
