SK hynix launched its Silicon Valley-based corporate venture capital brand, SK hynix Ventures, on September 18, 2026. CEO Kwak Noh-Jung introduced the initiative to global venture capitalists and startup leaders during the inaugural SK hynix Ventures Day.
The strategy shifts from identifying new technologies to leading collaborative innovation across the AI landscape. SK hynix will expand investments into AI computing, data centers, system software, and optical interconnect technologies.
The company has managed venture capital activities since 2015. These existing investments have generated returns exceeding twice the initial capital.
